Review

The one thing I’ve heard about this movie growing up is that it is THE scariest movie of all time. After viewing this do I believe that…no. I found this movie to be amazing but this didn’t even make me jump. I was very surprised considering this is THE movie when it comes to horror movies as most people say. At times it dragged but then again most classic movies have those moments where there are just extremely boring.

Characters

One thing that really caught my eye in this movie is the characters. They were extraordinary in all aspects. Linda Blair (Reagen) had a vulnerability in the beginning of the movie so when she turned it really made you feel sorry for her. The mom was really had some, this sounds corny but, motherly qualities which is always good to see to make it more believable.

Gore

This movie has a little bit of gore but nothing over the top. Possessed Linda does some pretty nasty stuff involving a cross and her dark places. I was amazed at how perverted that scene was and realized that this filmmaker to go, wow this movie is really fucked up.

Nudity

None and I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want nudity in this movie.

Overall

I was very disappointed with only one aspect of the movie and that was the fact that this didn’t scare me one bit. I don’t think this could scare my little cousin but who knows. This movie was very fun and had a lot of amazing stuff that I look for in a horror movie and that is just plain crazy stuff that’ll make you sick.
