Origins
Known as the Springwood Slasher, Frederick Charles Krueger, mutilated the children of Elm Street for years. After being caught
by police, everyone knew his sentence would be death. Little did they know that the warrant for Krueger's arrest was not
signed correctly and he was let go. With the courts not being able to do anything, the parents of Elm Street took the law
into their own hands. Following him to his boiler room layer where he took his many victims, they burned him alive. Revenge
was finally theirs.
However, Krueger's soul would not reach hell and he would be given the ability to enter peoples dreams. There he can
do anything he wanted to them and it would affect them in real life. He haunted the dreams of teenager after teenager, eventually
being defeated by a select few.
Enemies
NANCY THOMPSON (Heather Langenkamp) - Krueger's first real "foe". After having haunted her for weeks, Nancy was
finally able to vanquish him. As the ending is unclear, it is also unclear as to how she actually defeated him, though it
did show her not fearing him anymore so he disappeared. She later came to help the children of Westin Hills but was killed
by Freddy in the process, being stabbed through the chest by Freddy's razor glove.
Kristen Parker (Patricia Arquette and Tuesday Knight) - Another great foe who, with the help of her friends and the ability
to pull people into her dreams, defeated Freddy. However, after Freddy made a triumphant return after supposedly being defeated
by Kristen, he goes after Kristen and her friends. She finally meets her demise by being thrown in a stove and being burned
alive. Her grave is adjacent to Nancy's.
ALICE JOHNSON (Lisa Wilcox) - A friend of Kristen, is introduced to Freddy through her. She takes the dream powers of her
friends to defeat Freddy. After becoming pregnant, Freddy is able to use the baby is a gateway into her nightmares anywhere.
With the help of Amanda Krueger (Freddy's Mother), Alice is able to vanquish Freddy. She is the only heroine to survive
her final encounter with Freddy.
